This lovely tightly coiled grey and cream cowl is our shortest cowl. It comes with two string ties to attach around your neck.
The handcut cowls are created from the scraps of the tanning process that would have otherwise not had a purpose. Each cowl is one of a kind shaped based on the size and anatomy of the sheep. Each cowl has two string attachments to tie around your neck or shoulders.
We save these hides from the Michigan waste stream, tanning them using strong teas brewed with bark, leaves and wood.
